DO YOU THINK ATHLETES MAKE TOO MUCH MONEY??

I do not think professional athletes make too much money. In my opinion, They deserve to get multimillion salaries. Professional athletes get paid what they are worth. I think Hollywood act&actress make too much money more. I do not think anyone makes too much money. It is based on what you can do and how many people are capable of doing as well what you do. Meanwhile, people are paying to watch them or buying the products that come from advertising, professional athletes continue to get paid. It is not because it is popular kids playing game, it is because they perform something that people want to pay to see at the highest of levels. Moreover, theres a small supply of professional athletes and a big demand.

I know most people do not agree with my view.

I am ready to fight you guys~ ^^

Bring it on~!

Thuesday with morries.

The book, "Tuesdy with morries", is a true story. The writer, Mitch Albom, was very successful journalist. He is used to be a student of professor Morrie. When Mitch watch Morrie on the TV, Morrie was dying from Lou gehrig's disease. There wss no medicine for his disease. Only one thing that Morrie can do was waitong for death. Mitch visited Morrie and they started talking about life and death.

This time Four years ago, I red "Tuesdy with morries" when I wait to enter the millitary service. I did not know what i do until working at the millitary. I just wasted time. Everything I did was negative. I was not nice and polite to my parents and friends. I was becoming a person who gave up everything. One day, I red the book, "Tuesdy with morries", on the subway. After I read that book, my life was totally changed. I realized how much precious the time that i have is. I started woking in convenience store even though I worked for a short time. I met various people and had good experience that I had not learned in the school. "Tuesdy with morries" gave me great advice.

Steve Jobs's speech

I was impressed and taught about the way to live life by Steve Jobs's speech. Steve Jobs who is CEO of APPLE is known for his special management method. It originated from his life experiences. As an adopted baby, a university student who dropped out of colleage, a worker who continued to succeed and fail, and person who had had a time limit on his life, his hard life shows in his management style. Now, Steve Jobs is the most successful CEO in the world, but he still says " Stay hungry, Stay foolish". His opinion makes me think about my life. Above all, Steve Jobs's speech is very unique. He gave audiences not only a lot of humour but also an impression at the same time. It makes that the audiences, including me, paid attention to his speech. I am not usually interested in somebody's speech, but I learned a lot of things that I could not leatn from school.

I do not think that people only have one turning point in their life. I have had many experience that changed my thinking, goals, and life. This time that I am in Canada has been another turning point in my life. Until few months ago, I did not realize the real reason that I study in Canada. Until I realized that reason for which I have come to Canada is not to do what I want but to do something that I can not do in Korea, I waste my time. In the few months I have left, I should remember why I come to Canada. My turning point is not finished. It is still moving to my goal.

Conversation Club

At the end of every day in the school, I sign up and join the conversation club. I can sign up for the conversation club four times a week, and I have signed up as many as I can every week. Actually, the conversation club is my favorite school activity. I know that other school activities like discussion club, trips, and seminals really help to improve my English, but I prefer joining the conversation club. Before I studied at YUELI, I had studied for three months at a private school and they had the same activity like the conversation club. For three months, I participated in the conversation club two hours a day. My spoken English was terrible more than now because I had recently arrived in Toronto. By taking the converdation club, I could make many friends and improve my speaking English at the same time. That is why I prefered the conversation club over other activities. Another reason that I join the conversation club is that I can talk with university students. While my friends who are studying English in Canada are thinking of only one thing, "Studying Englush", canadiens university students worry about their major, jobs, part time jobs, and life like I was always worrying when I was a university student in Korea. We can talk about various topics wvwn though we have different background. This week, I already signed up four times to the conversation club. I am going to sign up to the conversation club until I finish the YUELI course.

Who Has Influenced Me The Most?

One question that a lot of people ask me is that "Who Has Influenced Me The Most?"
Sometimes, somebody ask me about that and I also think about it. Therefore, I do not hesitate
to say the answer. It is definitely, absolutely, my father. My mother, brother, and friends, they
also affect many aspects of myself, but I have been influenced by my father a lot. When I have been in hard times, my father has not given any common advices. However, he always stands behind me. My father is ready to help any time I want. Whatever I have done, he has led me to a right way. I am not to say that my father is a perfect person. It is impossible and nobody is perfect in the world. My father never expresses how much he loves his sons. However, my brother and I know and feel how much he loves us. I can not explaine who my father is, but I can say that I know about him more than any one. Above all, I would like to be person who is like my father because my father is person who I respect the most. If I could have been person who is like my father, my son also will think that my son would like to be person who is his father.

The Nature and Growth of The Scientific Thought

I took the lecture, " The Nature and Growth of The Scientific Thought." When I signed up for the lecture, I thought that it was about how to think scientifically. However, my expection was totally wrong. Before I write about this lecture, I found something interesting about the York University students. It was just a guess, but now I was sure. It is true that most York University students study hard, but some students do not. I watched some students who played games, watched movies, and chatted with their friends in the class.( Such nice guys.........)
Anyway, the lecture started and Albert Einstein was introduced. The professor explained about Einstein's personality, achievement, and life. Until that time, there were no problems. After that, serious situation was waiting for me. The professor began to prove relativity theory. I had no idea about that. At that time, I realized that it was not my English problem. Even if the professor ahd spoken Korean, I could not have understood. I checked my friends who signed up to the same lecture. Young and Daniel.
Daniel, he pretended to pay attention to the lecture, but I knew that he did not understand any word of the professor said. Young fortunately did not sleep in the class. After the lecture, we did not know what we had heard.
My third lecture in the York University, it was finished just like that.
